Riverside Academy’s Early Childhood Center is located in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. It opened to students in 2007 and provides a preschool program on Monday through Thursday throughout the school year. Riverside ECC receives funding through the Michigan Great Start Readiness Program.
The main objective of the program is to provide a high-quality preschool experience that will provide children with the knowledge and skills they will need to be successful in school.
We believe children learn best when they are engaged in purposeful activities that allow them to interact with their environment in authentic ways, constructing knowledge through planning, exploration, experimentation, and reflection.
We are committed to providing a rich learning environment that reflects the interests of the children and facilitates intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and language development.
We are committed to building positive relationships between school and home and partner with families in promoting the growth and development of young children.
Transportation for students with siblings attending Riverside East and Bridge Academies is provided in the morning and afternoon.
